Bottle Bend Reserve provides an opportunity for travellers and locals to enjoy the riverine environment of the Murray River. Facilities are continuously being developed for the public to enjoy.

Sightseeing.
Bottle Bend Reserve has plenty of things to see and do. You can see an abundance of wildlife from Red Kangaroos hoping about, grazing amongst the Black Box trees and grass lands to Mallee Ringneck Parrots and Pelicans around the waterways, creeks and billabong.

Activities.
Walk, bike ride, paddle or boat your way around the reserve to enjoy the sights and photo opportunities. If you want to share your images via the instagram page, use the following hash tag.

What You Can Do to Help.

• Leave the area as you found it. Take any rubbish with you.
• Dispose of any wastewater in earth pits.
• Situate earth pit toilets as far as possible from the river (water course). (At least 100 metres away).
• Inform yourself of whether it is a Total Fire Ban (TFB) and observe guidelines. - ABC Radio 104.3 FM / 594 AM  or River Radio 1467 AM.
• Ensure any fire is extinguished when not in attendance.
• Use ONLY fallen timber for campfires.
• Dogs are allowed but are expected to be on a leash when others are around.
• Noise - please consider others in the area.
• Firewood removal from the reserve is prohibited without an approved permit.
• You must be fully licensed, and your vehicle must be registered and roadworthy.
• Drive only on formed roads open to the public, (It is Illegal to drive off formed roads).
• Some roads may be closed for safety reasons, due to weather, or to minimise erosion.
• Hunting is prohibited in the reserve.
